The platform & mobile app

The full web dashboard plus the iOS and Android app. Live maps, trip history, reports, and settings — the same complete platform on every plan.

Every feature unlocked

Alerts, geofences, logbook reports, sub-accounts, service reminders, and API access. Nothing sits behind a higher tier, because there isn't one.

The SIM card & data

Driver behaviour alerts run on the motion sensor in the FMC920 and FMC880 — the device must be configured and calibrated to collect driver behaviour. Every other feature works on any TTC device.

The SIM and data are already inside.

A live tracker needs mobile data to report where your vehicle is. With The Tracking Co, that's built into the subscription: every tracker ships with its SIM card already fitted, and the R50 a month covers all the data it uses. You never load airtime, buy a bundle, or manage a second contract.

Every device arrives with its SIM already inside. Once your subscription is active, it starts reporting — nothing to insert or set up.

Data covered by the R50

All the mobile data the tracker uses is part of the subscription. No usage cap to watch, no top-up to remember.

The SIM managed for you

The SIM and its data are our responsibility — you never deal with a network or a data contract. Like any connected device, the tracker does rely on cellular signal to report.

Full transparency: the subscription covers everything software-side. The only extra costs are physical or optional — here they are, with prices.

Hardware — once-off, from R499

You buy the tracker once and own it, from R499 for the plug-in OBD Mini to R1,199 for the rugged FMC880. Compare the devices — never rented.

Professional install — optional

Self-installing is free and we guide you through it. Prefer it done for you? From R450, depending on vehicle and location.

SVR — optional, R44/month

24/7 monitored stolen vehicle recovery with armed response integration. R44 a month or R480 a year, added only if you want it.

Engine cutoff relay — R200 once-off

Remote immobilisation via the platform. A once-off relay for the 4G900L or FMC920 — no ongoing fee.

What does the R50 per month tracking subscription include?

Everything. R50 per vehicle per month covers the full tracking platform on web and mobile, live GPS tracking, trip history, geofencing, speed and after-hours alerts, SARS-compliant logbook reports, sub-accounts, service reminders, and API access. It also covers the SIM card and data inside the tracker, and direct support from a real person. There are no feature tiers and no paywalls.

Do I need to buy data or airtime for my tracker?

No. Every tracker ships with its SIM card already fitted, and all the data it uses is covered by your subscription. There is no airtime to load, no data bundle to manage, and no separate SIM contract — the R50 per month is the complete running cost.

Is the mobile app included, or does it cost extra?

Included. Every subscription comes with the web platform and the iOS and Android app at no extra charge. You can also create sub-accounts for family members or staff, each with their own login and permissions — that is included too.

Are any features locked behind a more expensive plan?

No. There is one subscription and it unlocks the whole platform. The only feature that depends on your hardware is driver behaviour alerts — hard braking, cornering, and rapid acceleration — which need the motion sensor in the FMC920 or FMC880 and must be configured and calibrated on the device. That is a hardware capability, not a paywall: the software side is always included.

What does the subscription not cover?

Three things, all once-off or optional. The tracker itself is a once-off purchase you own, from R499. Professional installation is optional — self-installing is free, or The Tracking Co arranges an installer from R450. And stolen vehicle recovery is an optional add-on at R44 per vehicle per month for 24/7 monitored response. Nothing software-side ever costs extra.

Is there a cheaper plan with fewer features?

No — one plan, every feature on it. If you want to pay less, the annual option is R540 per vehicle per year, which works out to R45 a month and skips the monthly debit order. The features are identical on both plans; the only difference is how you pay.

How do I get support if something is not working?
